The spectacular Costa Vicentina nature reserve coastline and its beautiful sandy beaches, walking paths along cliffs, narrow bays and rocks is only a lovely 30 minute ride along green hills on a narrow countrylane without traffic jams.

Lisbon is about a 2 hours drive from the cottage. A nearby train leaves Funcheira (at 15 minutes drive) at 8.23 am arriving in Lisbon at 10.09 am, returning at 17.20 pm to arrive back at 19.08 in Funcheira.
The fare is 15 euro one way.
